DAY 1 Arrive in Lisbon where you will be met by an ApardoGolf representative who will help you secure your rental car and answer any questions you may have. From the airport travel direct (1 hour) to your first hotel check-in. Alternatively explore Lisbon centre before travelling to your hotel on the ‘Marginal’ coastal road (2 hours). DAY 3
SIGHTSEEING SUGGESTION: SINTRA
The old town of Sintra is one of those magical places that you must visit, described by Lord Byron as “the most pleasing in Europe”, a preferred vacation retreat of the Portuguese Royal family, it has remained over the years a cherished and revered place. English poet Robert Southey described Sintra as "the most blessed spot on the whole inhabitable globe", a demonstration of the region's enormous cultural wealth.

DAY 4
GOLF: PENHA LONGA, ATLANTIC COURSE
Designed by Robert Trent Jones, this is one of Portugal's most inspiring landscapes, the opening holes and the final flourish share a wooded vale in the shadow of the Sintra hills, while others arc and plunge over scented hillsides, this championship test and host to the Portuguese Open, is a master of variety and thrills.

DAY 5

In the afternoon play the visually stunning Praia D’El Rey links course, one of the most picturesque layouts in Europe, set in pine forest with spectacular views over the Atlantic. Designed by Cabell B. Robinson, the Par 72, 6467m course, has bold deep bunkers, undulating greens, and natural sand border areas which contrast beautifully with its lush green fairways.
 

DAY 6 SIGHTSEEING SUGGESTION: Visit the medieval town of Óbidos, considered by many as the most beautiful of Portugal’s historic towns. Sample the local cherry liqueur, ‘Ginjinha’, served in tiny edible chocolate cups. Complete the visit by walking part of the castle ramparts. Close by are the monasteries of Alcobaça and Batalha, supreme expressions of the nation’s art and architecture and Fátima, one of the most important shrines in the Roman Catholic World, since the miraculous apparitions of the Lady Fátima in 1917, an awe inspiring experience. In the afternoon visit the delightful winery at Quinta do Sanguinhal, owned by the family since 1871, whose great grand daughter will guide you round whilst helping you to understand the history and production of their wines, then experience the opportunity of tasting wines before deciding on purchase at their charming wine store. In the morning enjoy the opportunity of playing Praia D’El Rey a second time. The afternoon is free to enjoy the resort facilities before your departure from Lisbon airport
